Big Wish Softpencil Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the customer Softpencil Blog Hop. This hop is for all of us Softpencil fans who are not on the DT. So, if you came here from Mervi's Blog, then you are in the right place. If not, you might want to start at the beginning so you don't miss any of the fun!!
I'm using Clean and Simple FTL91. LOVE IT!! My card features Softpencil image Ratiny sneaking up on the cupcake. I colored my image with copics and used pop-dots for dimension.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up.
I hope you continue to enjoy the hop! Softpencil (aka Elizabeth) really has some adorable images, so get inspired by checking out all the other customer blogs on this hop!
Your next stop on the hop is: Farida

Bear-y Sweet

Isn't this little guy so sweet? I left my card without a sentiment so I can add one later. You would think with all my posts that I'd have piles and piles of cards hanging around ready to be mailed out....and you'd be right!! But there is always room for one more.
There's a color challenge over at Just Us Girls to use red, white and blue, and my first thought was something 4th of July like, but I think it works for an all occasion card as well.
The digistamp is from Designed 2 Delight, colored with my new Prisma Premier markers (still practicing with these), papers are from my fav pack Magnolia, brads, PTI kraft, nesties.

Hoppy Birthday with TCC

Hoppy Birthday!!
Happy Friday. Friday's are challenge day at The Character Cafe. Half of the DT follows the TCC challenge and the rest of us go out into blogland. BTW, the challenge this week at TCC is:
RECYCLE & REUSE

For my creation, I have chosen the cute Frog set, that can be found at The Cafe Store, and birthday cards are on my list...since I never have one when I need one.

I used M's Just Chillin DP, nesties, chalk ink, digistamps from TCC colored with Copics and Bics, PTI CS, buttons and thread.

So play along this week for a chance to win digistamps from The Cafe. Also, don't forget to check out the rest of the DT. You can find their blog links to the right ------>

Vintage Water Can

So I picked up this cute little freebie digistamp at Designed2Delight. I love checking out new digistamp artists, with all the different styles out there, I'm never at a loss for great images.
The background paper is actually a paper bag I got during our last trip to the Tea Room. I loved the bag and knew I could put it to good use. The ribbon is $1 Michael's bin, nesties, and I colored my image with copics and Prisma Premier Marker.

OK, is anyone wondering why my bow is sideways? Well I liked it that way, PLUS, can you see "Curtis Brothers" on the paper? It's an ad for undertakers, caskets, and funerals! I didn't realize that when I cut the paper! So I just HAD to cover it somehow.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm turning in my prospectus today, so I'll be done with school for the summer! Woo-Hoo!!

Bug Hug

I should have been working on my final last night...but stress makes me want to escape! So here's my creation:
For this card, I used the adorable Bugaboo digistamp, colored with copics and bics, the row of flowers are from Walk in My Garden Cricut cart cut at 1.5" (using Border), g glitter glue on the centers (but it doesn't show well), the sentiment is from Pink Cat Studios (a freebie), DCWV Glitter Mat Stack DP, ribbon.
I thought she was too cute. I've been into kid stamps lately. I guess because they all remind me of Bean...not that she has wings or anything :)

Thank You Teachers

So last week was Teacher Appreciation week and there I was again, at the last minute, trying to make a little something for Bean's AWESOME teachers.

Using Doodlecharms, I cut the apples at 4", once in green, once in red, and the stems in tan. I inked everything! The stamp is Stampin' Ups Circle of Friendship. These are great all occasion stamps.

This is the back of the giftcard holder. I cut another in red and glued it on just around 3 edges so I could slip the card in. Had I thought to measure the giftcards first, these would probably look different :) Oh well, that's how I learn.

And this is the front. Bean loves giving her teachers gifts...especially in the form of small rocks.

Snail Mail

I have so many Cricut carts and so little time. I feel like I need to take a vacation for a week just to craft....I have sewing to do, cupcakes to make, a house to organize. My darn job keeps getting in the way of life! But I'm so blessed to have such a great job.
I love the Sentimentals cart. Just looking through, there are so many cuts that match puns. I cut my little snail at 1 3/4" (on flip) and the grass is from Plantin SchoolBook (Fit to Length 4 1/4") once regular and once shadow...but I ended up staggering it so it'd look like more grass.
The sentiment are individual stamps using my Stamp-a-ma-jig...this took the longest! I added a little white pen, inks for shading, and a ribbon. Papers are from my fav paper pack that I always forget the name of. Layout is Mercy's Tuesday Sketch MTSC72.
Don't really know who this is going to just yet. I've been organizing and cleaning my room and this snail was calling me :)
